MAX PITCH SPEED - BASEBALL

Max Pitch Speed is one of the oldest evaluation tools in baseball. A general measure of applied strength, this baseline measurement is used to create program design, monitor athletic production in real time or evaluate pitcher fatigue.
Instructions:
For U12 athletes start at a distance of 46 feet, for all other athletes use a distance of 60 feet 6 inches. After dynamic warm-up and 5-15 throws at 75% effort, athlete pitches 5 pitches at maximum effort.
