The Northwest Regional Volleyball Combine is focused on creating the opportunity for players to demonstrate their volleyball skills, and for college coaches to evaluate recruits in a quick and economical manner.  Contact information for each combine athlete will be provided to college volleyball coaches who attend a combine, or express interest through Northwest Speed School.

The Combine format highlights individual performance drills, as opposed to group/team play.  This allows collegiate coaches to see multiple repetitions of specific skills, while also reducing the risk of injuries which can often occur in team competition. This apples-to-apples comparison is a great way for collegiate coaches to compare athletes from smaller High Schools, and JUCO programs that might suffer from limited competition to other players throughout the country.

To provide coaches with a complete profile of participating athletes, the combine will include various tests conducted at the USA Volleyball Recruiting Combine, as well as two tests that specifically evaluate upper body strength and power production at point of attack.
